What is it?

Larkstone Supported Living is all about supporting people, who have a disability and working towards living independently in their own flat within Larkstone terrace, in the community.

The level of support will depend upon the assessed needs of the person involved.

 

Who is it for?

Larkstone Supported Living will provide services for adults who are 18+ with learning disabilities and complex needs that may challenge.

 

Who will benefit?

People living in group homes, who would benefit from a more individualised system of support.

People currently living at home with parents/carers who are looking for greater independence.

 

What is the aim of this service?

To work closely with other agencies involved with the person, particularly care managers, health professionals and benefit agencies.

To liaise with the family and friends of the person.

To insure the health needs of the person are met.

To attend to the safety and security of the person and their flat.

To improve and increase the involvement of the person in the community.

To enable the person to increase their life skills with the hope that they can move on to independent living in the future.
